New case study! Customization of the NetSuite platform for the solar energy company.

About the client
Our client is a US-based energy company that designs and installs custom solar power systems to help businesses and individuals switch to sustainable, affordable energy. To support their operational activity, they rely on the NetSuite platform.
Challenge
Over time, the client encountered issues with their NetSuite system. Previous customizations had created over 100 complex workflows that were hard to understand, undocumented, and difficult to troubleshoot. They asked us to analyze, document, and gradually rewrite these workflows into clean, maintainable scripts
Approach
Drawing on its NetSuite expertise, DigitalMara gradually replaced over 100 complex workflows with SuiteScripts, improving maintainability, error handling, and test coverage. We implemented standard customizations and security policies and introduced GitHub version control so that the client could track changes. Several integrations, such as the client’s internal app, Paycom, and Mailchimp, were automated with custom logic, ensuring secure data transfer and proper processing. Finally, we documented all existing workflows, new scripts, and integrations in Confluence and MindManager, giving the client full visibility and control over their system.
Results
The optimization and customization efforts have delivered significant improvements. Over 100 workflows were replaced with six streamlined, fully documented scripts, each covered by unit tests. NetSuite operations became faster, more efficient, and logically structured. The client’s internal team can now maintain and support the system with ease.

New case study! Web development for a fintech product.

About the client
Our client offers smart finance solutions for businesses of all sizes. Their comprehensive solution includes purchase and sales invoices, receipts, and different types of reports.
Challenge
The client’s goal was to develop two new products. The first one was an internal admin tool designed to streamline internal processes and second – an automated signup app to simplify onboarding for new clients.
Approach
DigitalMara developed two seamlessly integrated MVP applications, starting with a detailed assessment of technical requirements and clear project estimates. The approach was refined throughout development to ensure adaptability and precision. Both apps were designed to integrate with the existing ecosystem, connecting to the database, login and email systems, and company search. Customer data was migrated to a new admin tool, new accounts were automated via signup, and APIs were applied for smooth integrations. The signup app also featured multilingual support to deliver a consistent experience for users across different countries.
Results
The client successfully received two functional products that passed User Acceptance Testing (UAT), meeting all user expectations and delivering the intended functionality.
New client’s review on Clutch!
“Their team was prompt, reliable, and maintained excellent communication.” Liviu Chiriac, VP Engineering at BioPhy
BioPhy is a biotech company that leverages an advanced AI platform to accelerate drug development and optimize clinical trial design, helping pharmaceutical companies reduce costs and mitigate risks. Their primary goals were to enhance the user experience and ensure the application could scale to handle future demand. To achieve this, they needed a team to rebuild the web application from scratch with a new design and updated workflows. The DigitalMara team took ownership of the front-end development, resulting in improved system performance, stability, and user experience, while also creating a robust foundation for future growth.

New case study! Building microservices architecture for a finance web app.

About the client
Our client offers a platform that serves as a robust financial solutions integrator, connecting their customers with a wide range of providers and ensuring seamless, efficient, and secure transactions.
Challenge
The client aimed to extend their platform by integrating multiple new solution providers. This required developing a lightweight microservices architecture that could scale seamlessly and offer the flexibility to add more providers in the future. However, integrating diverse providers introduced significant compatibility challenges, including differences in data formats, APIs, and authentication methods.
Approach
DigitalMara designed and implemented a classical microservices architecture composed of a middleware service, multiple specialized microservices, and APIs enabling seamless communication between all components. All requests are routed through middleware, which directs them to the appropriate microservice responsible for interacting with the financial solution provider. To enhance reliability, the system automatically retries requests in case of timeouts. The resulting environment is highly flexible, capable of accommodating diverse integration standards, including varied data formats, authentication methods, and other provider-specific requirements.
Results
The updated architecture obtains high performance, scalability, cross-platform compatibility, and robust security. It is a great foundation for managing future integrations with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

New case study! Enhancement and automation of the file exchange platform.

About the client
Our client provides comprehensive support and services for independent pharmacies in the USA. They provide a proprietary software system for specific documents processing that ensures accuracy and transparency.
Challenge
The system receives documents, processes them, and delivers new files with required info. Original documents, whether in paper or electronic form, must be converted into the appropriate digital format. Over time, the system has accumulated large volumes of rarely accessed or duplicated data. This has led to inefficiencies in storage, data management, and overall processing.
Approach
We implemented a distributed database solution, transferring historical data to a single location and active data to a separate, easily accessible repository. Unnecessary data was removed. To further enhance system performance, we streamlined and optimized the data flow and automated several tasks. Since data is handled by an external processor, we also implemented a double-check to ensure it is uploaded correctly to the client’s server.
Results
Through the implementation of data archiving, the amount of storage space consumed has been reduced by 80%, optimizing overall system performance. This ensures seamless and efficient data management, which lays great foundation for future development.
Our guide “IoT in Logistics: Efficiency Through Connectivity”
Smart logistics solutions connect previously separate elements into one ecosystem, improving service quality and giving end customers a much better experience. Companies can tackle key costs such as fuel, driver’s wages, equipment wear and tear, and fines for undelivered shipments. Intelligent devices allow them to optimize routes, monitor vehicle health in real time, and avoid delays. Moreover, a more efficient IoT supply chain means fewer emissions, less waste, and better sustainability overall.
According to market.us, global spending on IoT in logistics reached $17.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $809 billion by 2034. The industry is clearly on the fast track.
In this article, DigitalMara explores:
- Real-world applications of IoT in logistics.
- Key challenges to implementation and how to overcome them.
- Why custom software development is critical to success.

In this article, DigitalMara explores:
• How to build secure and reliable outsourcing partnership.
• Key actions businesses must take to reduce risks.
